I can't accept that I'm aging. I refuse to give into gravity and time. Instead I've embraced cosmetic means. In the beginning it was an absolute nightmare, but now I know what not to do and I can't bring myself to stop reversing the aging process or at least slowing it down. Hopefully you won't fall into the trap I did.

I started with a simple procedure. As far as Botox, St. John's (my hometown in Canada) has tons of clinics to choose from. I honestly didn't know where to start. I ended up going to a chain of cosmetic-all-in-one-establishments figuring I couldn't get myself in too much trouble with a so-called "beauty expert."

Unfortunately, I never saw the supervising doctor. He left the Botox injection to an unskilled nurse since he was too busy with more invasive procedures. Therein lies the root of the problem. My injector put in too much Botox into my forehead.

My forehead then became extremely heavy and caused constant pain, tightness, and pressure in my eyebrows. I thought it was a side effect common in Botox so I didn't complain at first. Eventually after several weeks I just couldn't stand it any longer.

I returned to location I received the injection and was finally able to see the doctor. He helped me correct the problem and did his best to earn back future business, but I have not returned to them for any further treatments.

Had I taken the time to research the establishment where I got my Botox done, and made sure a qualified professional was injecting me, I'm confident that I wouldn't have has such a traumatic experience. At least you can learn from my mistakes.
